Two artists from BILOURA Collective, Angie Rottensteiner and Silvia Ribero, are invited to participate in the second residency of the international research project NAGUAL in Brussels, Belgium. Together with the Mexican director Betzabel Falfan, the Belarusian dancer Tanya Galibus, the French performer Aurèle Belliard and the Congolese dancer Diego Liendo, they conduct an artistic research on the theme of transformation.

THE NECESSITY OF PERFORMING is a performing arts masterclass for improving the tools of the performer and for digging into the original impulse of art creation: the “necessity”.
It is a tool for artists in order to deepen the understanding of their own peculiar and unique artistic doing, and its evolutionary potential.
Two artists of the Collective will share some of BILOURA’s unique practices.

The performative concert SINKING ISLANDS by the dreamlike band SATOYAMA from Ivrea in collaboration with two performers Silvia Ribero and Angie Rottensteiner from BILOURA and the poet TZARINA Sara Casiccia will be staged. A journey between music and performance that reflects poetically on the threat of the rising oceans.

The intercultural performing arts workshop "ODI" travels to Verona as part of the beautiful EU Forum project "Art against racism" conduced by Association Le Fate Onlus. Intercultural performing arts as a tool to sensitise young adults from day centres of the city of Verona around the issue of discrimination. We are happy to be with them in this European project for intercultural dialogue and civic participation against the stigmatisation of migrants and refugees #forumproject.

Today we can contribute to this important day only with an online content. We decided to use the voice of the African artist Muthoni Drummer Queen to bring attention to women which are subjects of discrimination within patriarchal societies. We are tired, we want guaranteed rights to self-determined health, elimination of discrimination and gender-based violence, access to opportunities, work and income on par with our male friends.

BILOURA at CinemAmbiente Film Festival

Performative interventions organized during the dinner of Slow Food Valchiusella in Lugnacco as part of the festival programme. BILOURA will be intervening with the formula of ad hoc performances, which it often uses for events in the valley. This time the theme will be pleasure for a dinner with intense flavours.

During the 5 VOICES FOR 1 project that BILOURA held in Vienna from January to May 2018 with trafficked women, BILOURA conducted several interviews and together with fragments from the creative workshops, created a sound installation that presents the ECHO of these women.

in BOLOGNA
The GOOD CHANCE THEATRE Company from London, UK has invited BILOURA Colletive from 12 and 18 February 2018 to Paris, where it will conduce one week of workshop and create a performance with refugees living in Porte de la Chapelle. THE DOME is a temporary theatre for refugee camps that will feature BILOURA and many other artists under the artistic direction of Elisa Giovannetti.
